Lynn Guissinger has managed Catalyst with her late husband, Leslie Bohm, for the past ten years. At Catalyst, Lynn has worked to address marketing needs with solutions for bicycle and outdoor retailers and suppliers. Prior to that, Lynn practiced law, including time spent clerking for a judge on the Tenth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and practicing at the national firm of Holland & Hart. Lynn taught for several years at the University of Colorado School of Law, teaching courses in urban planning, including transportation issues. Lynn served on the City of Boulder Transportation Advisory Board for five years, acting as chair for two. In that capacity, she had the opportunity to work with and understand the marketing challenges and tools for encouraging people to travel by bicycle and other alternate modes. She brings this varied experience to Catalyst’s city-based marketing project, BikeLife Cities, and the new offerings for Catalyst’s retailers and suppliers. Lynn’s cycling history includes 5-week bicycle tours from the Olympic Peninsula into Montana and down to Jackson Hole, and from Duluth, MN along the Canadian north shore of Lake Superior to Bar Harbor, Maine. She’s cycled all 28 (or 26, depending on how you count them) cantons of Switzerland, and takes the family riding near Moab every Spring Break.
